Pocket Diagnostic® is focused on delivering rapid testing solutions to the forestry, horticulture and food industries with our range of plant disease rapid tests.
With a focus on producing rapid results, Pocket Diagnostic® offers the ability to test for commercially damaging plant diseases at the source.
To be used by supply chain managers, growers, advisors, inspectors and researchers Pocket Diagnostic® rapid tests can be used with a variety of testing materials taken from plants, trees and crops.
Pocket Diagnostic® in-field plant pathogen lateral flow rapid tests were initially developed for the UK Government plant health inspectors testing for tomato and potato diseases. The success of the plant disease tests led to the product being commercialised to a wider audience stretching across the world.
Since their launch, the high-quality and reliability of these rapid tests has led to their use in routine disease monitoring programmes and in response to disease outbreaks. Pocket Diagnostic® rapid tests are recognised worldwide as industry-leading plant disease detection kits.

In addition to our plant health tests, we also provide a platform for the online purchase of PCRD Nucleic Acid Lateral Flow Immunoassays (NALFIA). PCRD are qualitative rapid tests used as an alternative to DNA agarose gel electrophoresis and designed to detect amplicons labelled with DIG/Biotin and/or FITC (or FAM)/Biotin.
